This thermostat regulates the exhaust heat of the dryer, overheating can sometimes occur when this part fails to open the heater circuit, this usually leads to the plastic door window distorting /warping. Or if burnt out, the symptoms would be no heat at all. Fits in front fan chamber ducting at the base of the machine.

On most of the above models, the exhaust thermostat is mounted on the fan chamber in the base of the machine and can be accessed by removing the lower rear back panel. On small compact models, the floor / base has to be removed for access.
